Frequently Asked Questions

Does Bright Future Behavioral Health offer online counseling sessions?

Yes, we do! At Bright Future Behavioral Health, we want our clients to be comfortable and have options. We offer in-person counseling sessions, as well as telehealth sessions.

Our HIPAA-compliant telehealth option is easy to use. A link is sent through your appointment reminders. This link will never change so you can save it for future sessions. You have the option of receiving the telehealth link via email or text.

How do I fill out the required patient forms?

You will be emailed a link to fill out your forms online. Most patients find it easier to complete these forms on a laptop or desktop rather than a mobile device. Be sure to click submit once you’re finished so that they come directly back to us for your chart.

How do I contact my provider?

We want to ensure our clients have multiple options for contacting their providers. You can text the same number that you call (850)792-7795 to send a secure message to our office.

You can also send a direct message to your provider by responding to your last appointment reminder.

How do I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

You can call, text, or email our office, and we’ll be happy to reschedule your appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call us within 24 hours of your appointment.

There is a $50.00 no-show fee that you are responsible for if you are a no-show for your appointment.

What types of insurance do you take?

We currently accept Aetna for all ages. For our adult clients we accept Humana, Florida Blue, and United Healthcare.

What other types of payment do you accept?

Don’t have insurance? That’s ok. We offer several different options to help make counseling affordable to everyone.

We do take private pay, as well as we offer a sliding-fee scale based on your annual household income.

How long are your sessions?
Counseling sessions typically last between 50-60 minutes each session.
Is there a charge for records requests?

Yes, we do charge for records request. The fee is $40. The turn around time to expect is 3-7 business days. We also charge the responsible party if we are subpoenaed. This will be charged at our hourly rate for records preparation and appearances.
